Chimichurri

Nothing better than a spoonful of fresh herbs that is chimichurri. Chimichurri is super easy to make and super packed full of flavor. Plus its only six ingredients! The perfect topping on steak, chicken, fish or whatever else you may be eating.

Makes enough for 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of parsley

  • 1 shallot

  • 1 jalapeno

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1/3 c olive oil

  • 1/4 c white wine vinegar

  • 1/2 t salt & pepper

Ingredients

  1. Cut the stems off of your parsley to remove the parts with no leaves. Peel your shallot and cut in half. Halve and seed your jalapeno.

  2. Add all of your ingredients to a food processor and blend away.

Notes

This recipe is gluten and dairy free.

Parsley: Use Italian parsley. However curly parsley will do if needed.

Jalapeno: Keep the seeds aside just in case you want to add more heat. Some jalapenos are spicier than others so if you’re someone who is sensitive to heat, then start with a half of the jalapeno and work from there.

Olive Oil: Feel free to substitute all or any amount of the olive oil with another oil such as canola oil, avocado oil and coconut oil.

White Wine Vinegar: You can substitute thw white wine vinegar with apple cider vinegar or white vinegar if needed.
