Golden Graham S’mores Bars

Serves ~15

Ingredients

  • 1 12oz box of Golden Graham cereal

  • 1/4 cup (quarter stick) butter

  • 1 10oz bag marshmallows

  • 1 c chocolate chips

  • 1 10oz bag mini marshmallows

  • cooking oil for greasing pan

Directions

  1. in large pot on medium heat, melt butter. Once fully melted, add in the marshmallows. Keep stirring until the marshmallows are melted and add in 1/2 c of the chocolate chips.

  2. Once chocolate has melted in, remove from the heat. Add cereal and mix. Add in mini marshmallows and the remaining 1/2 c of chocolate chips in. You may want to wait a minute for the mixture cool down first so you’re mini marshmallows and chocolate chips don’t melt. you want them to remain as is (see photo).

  3. Pour mixture into a greased pan. Spray some oil on your hand and pat down to flatten and fill the pan.

  4. Refrigerate for about an hour before cutting into about 15 equal pieces.

Notes

Gluten-free: This recipe can be gluten-free if you use a similar gluten-free cereal.

Dairy-free: This recipe can be dairy-free if you use dairy-free chocolate chips.

This recipe is not originally mine. I believe it used to be on the side of the Golden Graham cereal box back in the day. I have made this based on memory.

Make-ahead

You can certainly make these ahead of time and store in the fridge.
